at-Taarikh al-Kabeer التاريخ الكبير 
 
This book contains the names of the Sahabah (Companions), tribes and Sahabiyat (Female Companions) in alphabetical order from those who have narrated Ahadith from the prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). It also contains the name of those who were alive during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (alayhi salat wa salam) but could not meet him, and of those who made Makkah their residence. This book also contains the names of those who remained in Madina after the Prophet (ﷺ) passed away, and who went to Kufa, and other names of Tabe'in in ash-Sham, Africa, and other places.
