ِِA Question directed to ash-Shaykh Naasirudeen al-Albaani (may Allaah Have mercy on him).

In Our Masjid in which we pray, a thief watches us while we pray in the congregation. He steals our shoes, chooses the most expensive, and repeats this almost every Salat. Is it permissible for us to have a Specific Brother not Pray in the congregation so that he can Guard our Shoes in every salat against these thieves?

Ans- This is not permissible

Questioner – So what do we do in this situation?

ash-Shaykh – In this situation, place your shoes between your feet as in what was reported in the Sunnah of Your Prophet.

سؤال موجه للامام الألباني رحمه الله

في مسجدنا الذي نصلي فيه لصوص يترقبوننا حتى نصلي جماعة فيسرقون الأحذية ويختارون الأحذية الثمينة ويتكرر هذا تقريبا في كل صلاة فهل يجوز لنا أن نخصص إخوة يتخلفون عن الجماعة حتى يحرسوا هؤلاء اللصوص في كل مرة؟

الألباني رحمه الله : لا يجوز.

‏السائل : وكيف يكون الحل إذا؟

الشيخ : يكون الحل أن تأخذوا أحذيتكم وتضعوها بين أرجلكم كما جاء في سنة نبيكم.
